Asia Pacific Youth Network Meeting

Representatives from Japan and Australia attended, and although the meeting was small, it was very productive.

There was an information sharing session with reports from the sub-regions and it became clear that all countries are facing the same issues of youth unemployment and precarious work. The meeting also met with PSI General Secretary Rosa Pavanelli and sought advice from her on the formation of a network. Rosa expressed a strong preference for mainstreaming youth, a view shared by the meeting.
