Hundreds of trade union leaders from the inter-american region met in Mexico City, 20-24 April for the PSI Inter-American regional conference and related meetings.

Discussions at the Conference covered free trade treaties and the Trade in Services Agreement (TISA); the ILO and freedom of association; tax justice and the fight against corruption; and the work of municipal employees.

Participants also joined in the first regional demonstration held on 23 April to oppose free trade agreements like TPP, TTIP, CETA and TISA.
