PSI Deputy General Secretary David Boys is invited to speak on two panels at the 2016 Stockholm Water Week.

On Sunday 28 August, David is a closing speaker after a whole day seminar on Water and Job Opportunities: A Critical Nexus for Growth, which will be opened by Guy Ryder, ILO Director-General and chair of UN-Water.

David will speak alongside Diane D’Arras, Vice-president of Suez Environnement, Water Europe, and President-elect of the International Water Association, as well as Uscha Rao-Monari, head of the $330 billion global private equity group Blackstone’s Global Water Development Partners, and formerly of the World Bank International Finance Corporation (IFC).

On Monday 29 August, David will speak on a panel alongside the private water operators federation, and a group of women in favour of Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs).

This year’s Stockholm Water Week affirms the global corporate attention to the sector, with major sponsorship by foods and household products giant Unilever and Nestlé, the water operators and with the OECD and the IFC’s Water Resources Group.
