Dr Jasper Goss, PSI Project Officer,  explains how PSI had seen and understood the early warning signs of a system that was failing the public and health workers. He underlines how in countries where there is a strong relationship between health worker trade unions and the government, the Ebola virus disease had been contained and treated effectively with no infection of health workers.
