To achieve gender equality and empower women around the world, leaders are increasingly looking to history's pioneers of progress and social inclusion: Labor Unions.
A large labor union delegation at the UN's 58th Commission on the Status of Women helped drive the message to policy-makers that unions are an integral player helping advance gender equality and rights of women at work and in society.
