PSI Vacancy: Project Officer

Public Services International is looking for a dynamic team player and fundraiser, who will work with us as Projects Officer, in the Union Development Department and in the Policy and Strategy Team. With frequent travels all around the world, the successful candidate will be based in our offices in Ferney-Voltaire (Geneva area). Applications should be sent before 15 December 2018.

His/her mission will be to design, plan and monitor  projects, worldwide, in conjunction with PSI project coordinators in the field (Africa, Asia, Latin America, Eastern Europe). The Projects officer oversees fundraising and reporting both to PSI management and sponsors/donors.

Working in a vibrant multicultural workplace, the successful candidate will possess a robust experience in project management and in fundraising in trade unions, international organisations or NGOs. He/she must have an experience in managing a team and in coordinating activities. He/she must be fluent in English and Spanish.

The candidate will be hard working, highly motivated, committed to social change and sensitive to trade unions. He/she must have attention for details and have problem solving skills. He/she will thrive in supporting others to achieve results, be a good communicator and be capable of going beyond the cultural and the linguistic divides, to easily communicate with the whole international team of PSI Head Office and in the Regions.
