Invitation to APRECON and related meetings

The tentative theme of the APRECON will be Quality Public Services Keep the Community Safe in order to address the pressing issues in the AP region and in the unions. It also corresponds to the PSI key priorities adopted at the 2012 World Congress.

The conference will have interactive technical discussions on the sub themes of disaster risk reduction and management, financing the development and public services, alternatives to privatisation, core organizing, trade union rights concerns and regional directions for the next five years. The conference will also provide opportunities for sectoral networking as well as subregional political discussions.
