A PSI delegation, part of the major group of workers and trade unions working in coordination with the Civil Society group for Financing for Development, will be attending the ECOSOC Forum on Financing for Development follow-up (FfD). PSI has a range of interests in the financing for development arena, including tax, trade, anti-privatisation, climate change and sustainable development.

The ECOSOC Forum on Financing for Development follow-up (FfD Forum) is an intergovernmental process with universal participation mandated to review the Addis Ababa Action Agenda (Addis Agenda) and other financing for development outcomes and the means of implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

PSI works in coalition with EI, ITUC, civil society partners, the ILO and others to influence the inter-governmental negotiations related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the Post-2015 Development Agenda and the Financing for Development (FfD) arena.

PSI took an active part in the Third International Conference on Financing for Development and PSI representatives attended numerous side-events and roundtables on several issues including tax, trade, anti-privatisation/PPPs, climate change and sustainable development.
