16 May 2012

Members of PSI affiliate in Algeria, SNAPAP, working in the justice sector, have been on  hunger strike since 6th May, following a 21-day strike in the sector.
For ten days now, the hunger strikers have been ignored by the authorities. Their health is in danger and two of them have been hospitalised.

SNAPAP are calling on the government to react to this serious situation and to enter into negotiations with the justice workers' union. PSI is closely following the situation.
